About Us

Welcome to First Baptist Church
of McDonough, Georgia!

Downtown Campus Our church has been described by others as one of the most unassuming and friendly groups of people they have ever met. Since 1825, this congregation has been in ministry, and we have just opened a second campus to reach our community with the Good News of Jesus Christ!

The rich history and heritage of First Baptist McDonough is the grand backdrop for this growing church poised to build a set of facilities for a third bright century of ministry.

You have a place to believe, belong, and become at First Baptist Church McDonough, and we invite you to join us one Sunday to see and feel what everyone in Henry County has been talking about lately. Our worship services are marked with the warmth of one of the best small choirs in greater Atlanta and the relevant teaching from one of Southern Baptist’s brightest young preachers.

We have a place for everyone to study the Scriptures, fellowship together, and minister to others through numerous service opportunities.
